Arslan Senki

Ever since I started watching anime, Shonen anime has been my favourite. I love the action the fighting scenes are always awesome & I always get so hooked into the storyline, resulting to binge watching until all the episodes are over.

With that in mind I almost always avoid watching Ongoing anime, because I have zero patience , I don't want to wait another week to find out who died or the plot twist, Ain't Nobody got time for that. Now I am asking why did I watch Arslan Senki when its on going... Because it good XD.

PLOT/ Summary.

In the  kingdom of Pars lies the Royal Capital of Ecbatana, a city of splendor and wonder, ruled by the undefeated and fearsome King Andragoras. Arslan is the young and curious prince of Pars who, despite his best efforts, doesn't seem to have what it takes to be proper  king like his father.
At the age of 14, Arslan goes to his first battle and loses everything as the blood-soaked mist of war gives way to scorching flames, bringing him to face the demise of his once glorious kingdom. However, it is Arslan's destiny to be a ruler, and despite the trials that face him, he must now embark on a journey to reclaim his fallen kingdom.

The anime is based on Hiromu Arakawa's manga adaptation of Yoshiki Tanaka's novel series.

Although very cliche I am currently enjoying this anime, the storyline is OK, it's not an original storyline, I feel I have seen this before *Hint Yona of the Dawn* but more political, more religion it shows more of the power hunger & betrayal and that people will go to any lengths to achieve their goals, even if it involves using magic & killing many people, (very much Game of Thrones).

Personally I think this anime is different from the some similar storyline because so far I love how its showing the journey that Arslan and his companions are taking, the challenges,  he doesn't win every battle or fight , which makes it more realistic, because nobody ever wins at everything. In the road of following dreams there will be challenges and you will want to give up, but keep going and never give up.

The art is ok, not that amazing , not too bad , but  one thing that stands out is
the battle scenes are drawn so perfectly, I really do enjoy a good fight and seeing the detail in every thing from the sword movements to the execution so far its done very well you feel like you are part of the battle, very realistic.

I am looking forward to seeing how the crowned Prince will restore peace and become a great leader, although he currently is very timid & kind the opposite to his Father I want to see his character grow & become a great ruler.

Num of episodes- 25.

Rating hmm so far 6/10

  1. I absolutely hate the wait for ongoing animes, so I'd always wait until they've been completed and then watch them but then complain when I finish it in one day haha >.<"

Although I love shounen animes, these kind of ancient looking ones isn't the right one for me - I get easily bored of it.
