Hello Anime and Manga fans , today i will be doing a review on the anime Drifters,which everyone is talking about.
Drifters is based on a manga written by Kouta Hirono, the creator of the Hellsing series. Its director is Kenichi Suzuki, the man responsible for directing anime such as Jojo's Bizzare Adventure: Stardust Crusaders
Storyline
Shimazu Toyohisa, whilst involved at the Battle of Sekigahara, manages to mortally wound Ii Naomasa, but is critically wounded in the process. As he walks from the field broken and bleeding, Toyohisa finds himself transported to a corridor of doors, where a bespectacled man at a desk waits for him i, sends Toyohisa into the nearest door where he wakes up in another world. There, Toyohisa meets other great warriors like him who have been transported as well, to be part of a group known as "Drifters."

Art & production
The quality is of high standard , they paid great attention to detail on everything especially their battle scenes, they minimised the 'chibi' animation for comedy scenes which complimented it very well. Drifters delivered on entertaining action its graphic blood everywhere highly entertaining .The music really complements the action in Drifters, can we talk about that intro its so cool , not come across anything so creative in a long time.

I haven't actually watched the anime such as Jojo's Bizzare Adventure: Stardust Crusaders so this is my first time watching Kenichi Suzuki's work, I have watched helping and it was ok so I knew i had to give it a shot.
Episode 1 captured me in with the action, & how the character was so daring & against all odds he he wounded the enemy even though he is impaled by spears he shot the lord .
I wanted to know more , then we are taken into this corridor where we meet the guy who transports him to elf world & we meet other war heroes.
Episode 2 was awesome , I loved how 3 of them worked together to defeat those soldiers & teach the elves to defend themselves by killing the general.
We also find out more about the Octoberist , trying to fight a war against the black king who who wants to kill all humans we meet the other drifters who have turned evil and fight with the black king like Joan of arc, I guess i can understand why she turned evil after being burnt at the stake .

Overall I love the show so far, drifters is immensely entertaining and extremely funny I impatiently await the airing of each episode.
